Sending an itinerary with several journeys
You can book the journeys together. Send a list with the date, time, origin and destination for each journey, plus passengers and luggage. For example: airport → Arraial, Arraial → Trancoso and Trancoso → airport. Combined bookings use the low-season rate provided by the team; check the individual journey prices and combined total in the quote. Arrange accommodation changes around check-out and check-in times.
Arraial d’Ajuda and changing accommodation
The Arraial d’Ajuda route uses the ferry and usually takes 50 minutes to one hour, depending on queues and the crossing. The vehicle ferry fare is paid by the driver and included in the quote. We pick up and drop off at accommodation; provide the full address. We also offer Arraial–Trancoso and Trancoso–Caraíva journeys, quoted in advance.
Route and drop-off in Trancoso
The journey usually takes around 1 hour 20 minutes in normal conditions. We may use the ferry or the road, depending on the time and route conditions. When ferry queues are long, we prefer the road. We serve accommodation, beaches and condominiums, including Nativos, Coqueiros, Itapororoca, Terravista and Taípe. At the Quadrado and other restricted-access locations, the car reaches the permitted limit; agree on the final drop-off point with the team. We also pick up from Porto Seguro hotels: provide the name and address.
Luggage, strollers and mobility needs
The planning reference is one large suitcase per passenger. Also declare smaller bags, strollers and wheelchairs: space must be arranged around the number of people and child equipment. Mention these items when booking so a suitable vehicle can be selected. For reduced mobility, describe the assistance needed and boarding arrangements; confirm the available configuration before booking.
Arranging the return to the airport
For departures from Trancoso, we recommend pick-up around 2 hours 30 minutes before the flight. This allows approximately 1 hour 20 minutes on the road and arrival at the airport at least one hour beforehand. Agree on the time with the team and allow more time for traffic, queues, adverse conditions or a longer airline check-in requirement. Provide your flight time, accommodation and meeting point; ask for a specific schedule for other destinations.
